Product introduction

Axial internal pressure compensator (expansion joint) is composed of a bellows and structure. It absorbs the axial displacement of the pipeline and a small amount of lateral and angular displacement through the flexible deformation of the bellows. The two ends take over or directly connect with the pipeline. Take over the weld, or weld the flange and connect it to the pipe flange. The small pull rod on the compensator is used as a rigid support during transportation or as a product and deformation adjustment, and cannot be used as a force pull rod for balancing pressure thrust. This type of structure is simple and the cost is low, so it should be considered wherever the pipeline is available.

The figure below shows the necessary factors for the installation of a typical axial expansion joint and must be consistently observed.

The first conduit device G1 is located at a position four times the diameter of the expansion joint tube。 If the expansion joint is designed with an external pressure, the first conduit device is integrated with the expansion joint, and only the second conduit grasps the built-in and the middle。 Grade catheter devices are needed.

The second conduit device G2 is located at a position 14 times the diameter of the expansion joint, and the main fixing bracket is the most important from a design point of view. They must be able to resist any force exerted on them. These forces include pressure and thrust, resistance to the stiffness of the bellows, frictional resistance in the pipeline, and inertial forces at the bend.


The pipe alignment device is an indispensable part of a properly designed pipe system。 The thermal expansion in the pipe must be controlled so that the bellows have only axial displacement. Pipeline alignment devices must be designed so that they can prevent bending and wrinkling of the pipe。 They should be able to minimize friction due to pipe displacement。 The following three illustrations show the type of pipe alignment device.
